AVG Free AntiVirus
AVG is the most common free antivirus program, providing basic protection while the registered version provides more complete protection.
AVG Free has improved greatly from previous versions now including automated updates, scheduled scans and on-access scanning - arguably the most important feature of any antivirus program. However, AVG free still lacks important features that every good antivirus program should have and AVG still ranks low on independent antivirus review sites.
